SWEATIEST auction house in history yesterday

I was trying to get 90s to build 93 Ghost of Mut

I was looking for a price range of under 96k

And the cards are gone so fast, 90% of the cards are gone before you can click on them, and the ones I do manage to click on get picked up before I can  hit buy now

How are people so fast?

I tried every filter...ToTW, Most Feared, Frozen Chill, Ghost of Mut, Legend - all the same result

Or is almost everyone trying to snipe cards and to build the new Frozen Chill players, since I assume everyone is done Comp Pass , and the snowflake offers are gone so not much H2H anymore and everyone is on the auction house?

People use the app, us normal people don't stand a chance, I used to be a crazy sniper in past maddens but ever since 21 I haven't been able to

I bid on hundreds of items, 87-90 OVR. I didn't win anything over an 86 yesterday.

Most 87+ cards were snagged by others using the buy it now option.

The few that made it to the end of the auction got bid up to unthinkable levels in the final minute.

I think there are a lot of people off of school/work and they are working on their teams. There were probably a large number of people that got the game for Christmas as well and have to catch up as quick as possible.

I am hoping for better luck with 87-90 OVR this week but am ready to wait it out until next week if I have to.

While this is true, let me assure you that it is just as bad on the app. The app was  "auction sold" the moment I could load into any card's buying screen. The app also has a huge delay on getting back to your search from the player card screen, so by the time you get back into search, the 2nd and 3rd cheap options you saw a moment ago are all gone. There are pros and cons to the app vs the game menu, I switch between both. Both have been near impossible for grabbing deals this week.

If there is an app...and there must be something going on that allows bid numbers to be defined by the user and jump tens of thousands of coins, it is unfair. Why does the game make a single bid go up by a set amount and a 3rd party APP can plug in whatever price they want? I am going to wear my controller out bidding set amount at a time. Is it the APP that caused the auction house slow-down/lock ups?

Folks are guying the 90s up not just for the set, but to flip them...I would suspect the competition is tight out there for them.  I was obtaining 90s yesterday and did not find it overly difficult...I was able to click quick enough to win maybe...one of five, which based on the number of folks looking for these seems fair.  I was using the console and not the app (app is much quicker, I don't like using it).  Good luck to ya today if you are still trying to get them.

The app isnt third party. yes you can set your bid amount and I have no idea why you can’t on console

Thanks. I never used anything beside console and I know there have been times I was bidding against a single person and the bid instantaneously jumped tens of thousands of coins when my individual bid increase was locked at 250 or 500 coins. 

We have the ability to manually input whatever number we want when listing an item for sale by pressing the square button. Not sure why everyone using the console has to be at a disadvantage over some APP?

Not sure why we can not register for tournaments through our console either? I appreciate that they want to "spread the word" and advertise as much as possible, but I also want to protect my identity and information as much as possible.

Completely understandable. Fc24 even lets you bid like that on console and it’s an ultimate team made by the same company lol

I won 0.00001% of buy-it-now bids when going through the Auction House on the console. Better success through the app, but the search options are still really limited because they have not updated program filters. I guess that's by design to slow us down or perhaps counter bots. Not sure.
