Wanted to check in and see if others are facing the same things.
This is the most toxic I've seen since I started playing MUT in 18. Opening with onside kicks, constant meta/cheese... like every single game, running 1-2 plays the entire game until it works (and, eventually, it almost always does), hurry up every play, taunting/celebrating whenever possible, etc., etc. The list goes on and on.
I get that winning is fun, I like it too, but this feels different. It's like being a dick just to be a dick, nothing to do with winning. Does no one want to play a poorly coded game of football anymore? Almost every match is like this now - in past years it was mostly just people trying to win, using cheese, whatever, but much less toxicity... I think.
At this point, the player base is ruining the experience more than the shitty gameplay EA throws together. Am I alone here? Are the rest of you (who aren't one of these people) just used to it, or see it less, or what?
