O-Line important?

Have 91 LT Trent Brown, 87 LG Landon Dickerson,  89 C Country Strong, 89 RG Logan Mankins, and 89 RT Rob Havenstein  as my line, along with Sweet Feet as Backup LT.

Is it worth it to invest some coins into a better quality O-Line? Or do high overall linemen not make a difference?

i dont think theres much of a difference at all. i had been running with 80s starting for the longest time and i just got a couple quality guys now and i still have relatively the same amount of time to throw

I don’t notice a difference between high OVR and lower OVR. Maybe when we can start putting abilities on them.

i barely ever run but my o line has never blocked well for me in any madden when running

I’m not sure it is I have no starters lower than a 91 and use +3 Iron Wall Strat and still get sacked on blitzes during playaction somewhat frequently  so take that for what you will

I feel like there was  improvement when I started using linchpin (2ap). Outside of that, STR and AWR are important. I wouldn’t get caught up in OVR. Look at 87-91 players and find the best value. Having Sweet Feet and Country Boi in the lineup as backups is something I’ll probably do until I can’t get around a chem requirement otherwise.

Waiting on abilities to counter D abilities.

I've noticed some differences in O-line play. Main difference being before and after equipping linchpin to Russ Grimm. That definitely makes a difference. Beyond that, I feel speed, impact block, and strength can be noticeable. I run quite a bit and while I have no objective basis to support this I feel much safer running against D lineman with abilities when having better O-lineman.

I wish that was all I needed to do. One of pinch-aligned Gravedigger or Terminator are constantly getting into the backfield.

In addition to Sweet Feet and Country Strong, I have John Madden/GG Quenton Nelson, Alex Mack (Linchpin), Wyatt Teller, and Trent Brown. I’ve got +3 STR to Madden, Mack, and Brown from Harvest and 49ers chemistries. I’m inclined to experiment with a terrible line, but I don’t want to pay 15,000 for an LG with an OVR in the low 70’s.
