Is it smart to upgrade team before your playoffs?

Should you spend like a little million coins to upgrade 2-3 players for your playoffs or just keep playing with the team you been winning with 🤔

It's good to upgrade if your doing H2H but if not then the free content you get can pretty much help you get past challenges and solo battles. You may need a few small upgrade for challenges but overall it's necessary for H2H so depends on what you like to do in game. I never play h2h so I have a 2023 colts tt and manage fine with in game content. So I just stack my coins and packs personally waiting for better content release so far at 200 unopened packs including coin packs just open strat and player specific content so it's not outdated to sell.

dont see the reason to. if you want upgrades do it before you even start your season

I guess maybe if you're only using the cards for the playoff run and plan to sell them back after. You might lose some value coins depending on how your playoff run goes though.

But like others have said if these are long term upgrades you were going to make upgrades you were going to make anyway. I don't see the point in waiting for the playoffs.
