To get Tate to the 89 ovr do you have to basically get max stars on all the solos?

For the last collectible ive done all the solos but im not sweating out max stars on any solos. Like ever. For anything. Let alone a backup LB based on a fictional character. But just curious if thats why I dont have the final collectible? All I know is supposedly you get it from the solos which ive def done all of and completed all of and I dont have it. 🤷‍♂️

I did the sets with the mystery/spirit letters yeah. But mine still has one upgrade slot left to go from 88 to the 89 and i dont have that last collectible to do it.

Hmm that's weird. Usually you get it from the solos

yeah u gotta max the stars out, its worth it tho, throw him on the field and hes a 6 ft 6 lb with lurk artist, so you can drop him back and get some nasty picks

😂🙄 i should have known. I just wish they were more overtly clear about these kind of things up front. While this one wasnt that bad at the end of the day and he's still a serviceable backup at 88 for now there have been more and more bait and switches leading to wasted time and or coins. The first "free" unstoppable 89 derrick henry springs to mind as one that really rubbed me the wrong way.

Either way solos are already boring to me and this year with EA recently changing to straight up lying about the difficulty and making even easy mode more annoying than usual i have no interest in going back and replaying a bajillion solos again on max stars. Oh well, like i said this ones not AS bad, hes ok as a backup for now.

I get it. Only reason I knew was because I went into the objectives tab and it said 120 stars for the token
