I have a theory for who the mystery player is.

What if EA made the mystery player OOP? The only player that wears number 13 and is that tall is mike evans. He has gotten outside linebacker cards previously in madden before. This is just a hunch

Well that's one theory.  But how many Super Bowls has Mike Evans been a part of? He won 1 but the clue was Super BowlS (plural).  And how does "Train clock" relate to him?

Those are the 2 clues that EA gave in the Spirit Sets.

Would be cool, but he doesn't fit either of the hints given

I think #13 is a placeholder but that's about it.

6'6 260, Morgan state, the position, and the 2 hints in the Spirit Sets actually match someone exactly.

I cannot see EA highlighting Mike Evans like this during a MF promo.

I don't think we "decided" as much as "deduced".

I mean, it may not be him, but there's only 1 human being on the planet that all the clues, size, specs, etc, line up with and that's Lester Speight. How many other people listed at exactly 6'6, 260 and played for Morgan state alone.......not even to mention played LB, voiced a character named Train, and is forever tied to the Super Bowl?

I keep seeing you say this. His name was not train. Lol his name was Augustus Cole. He had this (,annoying which is why I finally remembered it after seeing you bring this up and thinking about it enough to jog my memory) catch phrase type deal hed yell when firing himself up however which aid what i think youre referring to. Hed yell "Cole Train! Its time for the Cole Train!" Etc something like that. Lol

Also, the terry tate commercials ties to the clue" superbowls" is somewhat of a stretch in wnd of itself imo, but definiteky COULD be the connection. Guess well see 🤷‍♂️ I wouldnt mind if it was him and am mildly impressed that you even figured it out this far if it DOES come to fruition, I never wouldve lol Just playing devils advocate a bit

He was officially known by the nickname Cole Train by Epic. While his name was Augustus Cole, he is referred to as Cole Train. There was actually a music CD with Cole Train starring Lester Speight's voiceover. I did not figure this out, one of the mods here saw it on Reddit I believe and posted it. It makes too much sense to be ruled out.

I like that idea

mike evans would be the biggest L of humanity. power rusher, no lurk artist and will take forever to get to the quarterback since the outside linebackers or ends shed better with finnese moves  that just screams refund.
