I’m currently in old gen and am strongly considering upgrading around the holidays. But main thing holding me back is restarting my team.
Does my team transfer if I have duel entitlement?

Nothing transfers this year.

It's the very reason I haven't upgraded since the patch. Don't want to restart. Plus I'm stubborn and the principle of the matter
if you like to play Madden, you basically have to make the plunge. Old Gen is close to death if not already.

Thanks for the info. I figured it was a long shot. This demotivates me from wanting to change/upgrade.
Definitely worth it but it is a negative not transferring your team

I've had an XBox Series X for a couple years now but I still chose to play MUT 24 on the old gen version of the game. There's far less menu lag on the current gen console but I prefer the gameplay on the old gen version of the game.
If you have a high ELO and are playing against good opponents... defense is very difficult in the current gen version of the game. Your user feels extremely sluggish and you can't really bait and user lurk good offensive players into throwing picks. Also... if you're used to making a lot of in game formation substitutions and setting audibles, there's probably two weeks just getting used to the different interface (basically reprogramming your muscle memory).
I realize this might be my last year playing the version of the game I prefer... but the current gen version just isn't fun for me. At this point I think I would retire from MUT after ten years with this silly game rather than make the switch.

I’ve never played next gen. And o it what I’ve read tasking about the free form passing, which sounds like a large improvement.
I wasn’t aware of the sluggish user on current gen. With defense being useless now, I can see how next gen would be more frustrating.
I won’t be retiring from MUT as I’m too obsessed with NFL & Fantasy. MUT helps fill this gap.
