I'm the eternal optimistic madden player, but I absolutely HATE the way this year has been, I'd go back to 23, but the game is dead on old gen, and without tvp, there's no way to make coins. So I'm stuck here, might have to go back to mario kart wii at this rate.

Makes no sense to me how that was possible but hey it is an EA so called game.
Now I just get on for 30 minutes or less unless one of the requirements is win 3 games to get both Field and Com Pass dailies completed then I log out until the next day. I could keep making coins but at this point I really don't think I need all that many. The game does not feel like a game anymore it feels more like a "Oh I better get that done before I watch that movie" Vibe. If that makes sense. Honestly I feel Farming Simulator is actually more fun then the Madden game itself this year and to me that is bad.
I been spending about 30 minutes or less on madden the past couple of weeks now and spending between 2-3 hours on FS22 every day. The past two madden games I played a lot more and even though they had a ton of flaw they still were fun and challenging but this year feels like they took the fun out of the game and made it more of just got to finish this one chore and I'll be done. Just my take on how this years game actually feels to me.
Not hating. Just trying to understand. What's the point of playing MUT of you don't play h2h? Just to build up the best team to play some challenges with?

Im pre sure on 23 you can make infinite coins through the rare strategy pack. Don't quote me on this, but I think the price of pack is lower than quicksell, so guaranteed profit everytime
you pretty much had to be perfect to complete the pass… that’s wild…
never been like that before… last couple years, I would have the pass maxed out 2-3 weeks before. Now i’m not even close due to missing EXTRA daily objectives
just a weird choice… not really user friendly
and i’m someone that plays MUT Champs and gets 20-23 wins a week this year.

That was patched after a few hours, ill check it out though, can probably still make decent coins from it.

Just calculated it, i’ll be ~200k short from completing the pass…
that’s wild with everything completed and just missing EXTRA dailies.

I find it absolutely hysterical the pass was 56 days and daily tracker went to 30 lol

I’m the same way this year. I was pumped at the beginning of the year and amassed a decent coin stack. Since then now I just check out which cards come out I do my dailies and log off. In the last week I broke the bank on a 7k 79 overall Terrell Bernard and 28k 83 overall Ryan Bates.
It’s sad because I’d argue this years gameplay has been the best it’s been in years but it’s been squandered on a crappy field pass system
Feels like a part time job. I told myself to play casually this year and not stress getting on every day, so far I have got on to at least do the dailies but I need to stop stressing it - ridiculous if you can’t max out the field pass without doing absolutely everything and playing a ton online.
This has been shared with EA. I'm hopeful they will do something to correct.

We need more options not less. The new direction of the online team seems to be content letting US the players be the majority of the content. Solos are few and far between and as you said the passes requiring some form of online element to complete is shafting the solo guys specifically and the fact it's by design says they just don't care about that subset of players. Well if they don't care they'll be fine without the money those players generate bcs there's no point spending money on a game designed by people who hate you.
