I seem to remember there used to be thresholds where ratings performed basically the same if they were inside a certain range. For example, pass block between 80-84 are the same, but jumps at 85-89. Is that a thing? Does anyone know that the thresholds are?

Speed should be different, depending on player, like in FIFA.

Do you know if they get better even after the thresholds or is anything over 90 pointless? Like will a 94 MCV provide better coverage than 90MCV?

Nope. Only physical stats get better point for point
