I for one think they need to add some incentives for losing players to stay in games... (I like the idea of getting half their stats in a loss).  I also think they should add some damn incentives for players to finish thier 25 WL games.  This used to be THE mode for hard core players to earn good rewards.  But now... there's no incentive to play all your games if you have completed your stats.

That all being said... I think some players need to have some more heart.  This past WL I was 22-3.  I had two guys quit after seeing my top 3 cards... one guy quit after losing a hitstick fumble on the opening kickoff... two guys quit after I stopped them on their opening drive... and then several others quit after I scored on my opening drive.  Seriously WTF?  How do you expect to get better if you don't learn to overcome a little adversity?  Do you realize you can improve by playing games where you're outmatched?  

I learn more from my losses than my wins.  I got thrashed 48-21 by a Gun Bunch TE scheme in my Legends super bowl yesterday and it forced me to watch all the replays and get into practice mode to revisit my defense against this scheme.  Now I can't wait to face this dude again.

Everyone should at least play one full quarter before quitting out.

Most people here aren’t Belichick and Brady doing this for a living and watching film.  We are just looking to grind these stupid passes as quickly and efficiently as we can to get the rewards to try to improve our team.  That is the NMS mentality - time is worth more than money.  Statements like the above are more in line with whale thinking.  Your willing to spend more time in games because the rewards don’t matter as much because your team is already godly, so the rewards don’t mean as much and you can refinw your game by watching film - and chances are you are going to win most of the time and get your stats for objectives.  No point in wasting 30-40 minutes with my 83 OVR against an 85 or 86 god squad, when I can’t improve my team.  If the team is weak, I probably don’t have a chance against god squads unless I improve my team first.  If I’m not spending money, I‘m hopping into another game hoping I have a better chance at some cp or xp without wasting whatever time I have carved out to play.

I assume youre speaking of the comp pass deasons and mut champs but i also noticed that the same thing goes for the HR.In the past if you scored and lost you would still get a few percentage points/bars but no more.

the only balance is to up MUT Seasons H2H, but it has potential to reward packs so they cant reward triple for the mode

If you match with someone bad, then string them along. Let em score if you have to. Get those tough objectives finished like scoring in the 4th quarter or converting a ridiculous amount of third downs.

Nah attempting two points is, because it makes you likely to lose, and if you get to a super high score where you can go for two, your opponent quit already

How is this not changed or addresses yet.  this garbage is Just beyond stupid at every level

I think the two issues the MUT team are trying to control for are:

1) the issue in Battle Royale for anyone who plays the Show. Two players can match and agree to run up stats to clear all their objectives in one game. Really hard to find someone willing to do that for you if their stats don‘t count when they lose.

2) they clearly have no ability to control the DC glitchers that exploited the 25-0 reward, so the objectives can’t be win only. 

The real problem is reimagining a mode that was designed to see who could win the most games for rewards into an engine for season pass progress. It just wasn‘t a good idea.

I don't think they can really progress the mode forward in any meaningful way until they can figure out how to stop the DC abusers. Seems pretty simple on the surface. If someone disconnected before the 4 quarters in a game are up you award the win to the person who disconnected last & give the person who disconnected first the loss. Since they absolutely nuked Solo battles and it's original purpose for existing I think they need to create a new mode to bridge the gap between Champs & Solo battles that helps players progress the competitive pass. Something like House Rules that's a permanent mode within the game. A quick PVP mode where people are in & out within 10 minutes. Or a Co-Op mode that two friends or randos can play together against the CPU on varying degrees of difficulty with progress towards the comp pass for hitting random milestones within the game/mode. This doesn't have to be rocket science.

Yea I’m switching to 2k till this is fixed. Who knows may stay over there. Gonna sell my team and just wait it out. Too many people quit you can’t have only tracks during wins but hell even if it didn’t do tht people would just quit when they got there stats regaurdless of a required to win or not.

Then we’d complain about people quitting their first drive if it wasn’t required to win. We lose either way.

Not if winning 4, 10, and 15 games is one of the weekly requirements.

At the end of the day, you got to support the grind by helping out your fellow MUT opponents. Unless someone is being a total toxic mess, I'll help them in the fourth qtr if I know it's game over. For example, I played a hard fought game with a guy the other night. I was down 3, he picks me off and I've got no timeouts. With 40 seconds left in the game I just ran field goal block so he could get passing TD's and I intentionally lateraled/fumbled on kick returns. Let him score 3 TD's and a FG in that small amount of time. Honestly, even though I took the L, felt pretty good to help him out.

lol, i don't "got to" do shit.  EA needs to wise up.  I'll just build my team with AH proceeds and play when I want because the pass is so trash right now.
