Madden moguls with no value.

What determines the price of a 99 ovr card or the prices of all other cards during a madden season?

It cant be the community setting prices or any one individual. Mut.GG has all prices and updates cards info when needed but i dont think theyre capable or authorized to interfere with EAs intellectual property. 

My question is why is the economy of this game dictated to the people using it?? And why do we accept or do/say nothing about the devaluation of different ovr cards being decreased over time. Why cant the community determine when a 99 ovr will be worth 200k from a similar card same stats and abilities for 500k.

Read this or dont. Reply or dont. Agree or disagree or dont, but know if you play madden you were bent over and taken for time your life. Rolling over and subconsciously accepting this foul grime of a game and its malignant practices you turn a blind eye to for you dont give in to it like the others so it costs you nothing. The fool would see as such and some may never allow themselves to see the machine they ride and oil for what it really is and what its doing.

The market and what people are willing to spend are what determine it... Thats how markets work. 

The shiny new cards are always going to be expensive. A name or abilities will determine how much it is. Its not rocket science here.

So if a 99 ovr player gets 2 0 AP abilities and has 99 stats its worth more than a 99 ovr player at the same position who only gets 1 0 AP Ability and has slightly worse stats?

So when the season started this year and early in the year when 96-97 was max ovr and a 93 ovr went for 200kish is explained by the same forumla of supply/demand.

Usually yes 2 is better than 1.  Abilities beat everything else. Id take the 95 with 2, 0 ability buckets over a 99 with 99 everything wether he has 0 or 1, 0 AP bucket. 

Depends on if its a LTD or a very good ability card. 

QS values are determined by EA when that comes out. Pricing USUALLY has a general value relative to that. With TVP packs raising costs and lowering when there isnt TVP. Now that everything is around the same type and end of year, training tanks out.

Hey OP, this is just a GAME. It shouldn't be taken too seriously. On the other hand for EA madden is a business, they have mouths to feed, and margins to hit or people get fired. You've gotta know there are folks that want to make the game better but, that's not how things work in business. I think the only people that lose out are folks that have an addiction to buying packs when no special deals are involved. My wife bought me this game in april, i had no experience since madden 17. This community helped me build my squad, showed me what to do and not to do, how ap, tvp, and tt works. Because i started late most of the program challenges were open, and i made coins in no time. I bought the tt pack, a random pack, and the fire sale from the market. Didnt have to spend the money but the odds reveal actually worked in my favor.

I will agree with you, some of the exploits and changes are annoying, but its also fun when you conquer a challenge or challenger that you couldn't earlier in the year. As far as the market , it operates like any market...and is a game within itself. 

One statement i back you on 100% is be better human beings. People are ungrateful for the work mutgg puts in for THEM, and people say the worst things when they lose a h2h game.

I appreciate you & your feedback man, gives a good insight to how people feel about stuff. Im coming from the perpective of people who may not have another area of their life where their so involved but involved alone. For example, people with aspergers syndrome or who fall on the functioning side of the autism spectrum tend to have  specific interests and a hyperfixation on that interest to where its all they do. From 2006-2023 i wasted my youth playing a game called runescape obsessively. Thought i would be playing it all my life until i noticed what all it took from me without me realizing. My youth is gone, wasted on an online game that, in total has 2 and a half years of playtime logged. Meaning i spent 2 and a half years sat at a desk logged into this game over the course of 17 years of playing it. Only to see it for the time consuming, monthly membership money shredding, socially seperating revenue machine it is. Thats why i rant sometimes, to lessen what ive lost but also to hopefully catch the eye of someone similar and be able to save some of their time from being absorbed passively by billion dollar companies hosting off humanity's desire to escape the absudism that is our reality. Plus no one man or entity needs $1.7 billion USD annual profit, That could feed all the mouths but it wont. It sustains the desire for more $, The embodiment of greed. Ive enjoyed madden when im playing football and chatting with others. Take care man. (:

That's deep and awesome you were victorious. You managed to release yourself from the bear trap with minimal damage. From that perspective, your post is a positive one. Its why im never too critical until i see the intention behind something i don't understand. I know a few guys where "madden" is their "baby" so yeah, You're absolutely right in what you've said!!

You need to up your game son before you come here to complain. That comes out to  only ~800 hrs a year on runsacape. That's child's play with that gerne of video game.  I was in HS in 2006 and kids not even  18 yet  were saying they  are throwing  away their childhood for that gerne of game. (WoW,  runscape etc)

 Madden MUT( really any triple A game) is no diffrent in terms of manipulation for playtime and money.

Yup I played WOW from Beta to Pandas and finally gave it up. That was my entire middle/high/college days. Also was playing COD in that time as well. 

I had a good time and made friends along the way I am still friends with. I dont think of it as a loss.

Allow me to offer some advice: games are not a way of life. They are games. If you make playing a game(s) your life, you will regret it. That goes for 100% of games.

Make a better work/social/hobby balance and you will start to learn how to prioritize.

Also, don't do drugs, kids. They are bad. Send them to me for appropriate disposal.
