Rookie Premiere Market Impact

For anyone who has played in past years, can you provide any insight as to if/how rookie premiere typically affects the market? 
 

This is my first year for rookie premiere and I’ve done a little research that leads me to believe tokens can be attained in some way by exchanging NFL Draft Players. I know every year is different, but is this true for past Maddens? And if so, do we expect NFL Draft Player prices to rise? I know the game/market is pretty much dead at this point but I’m just curious.

so no guarantee that it will be draft players one year it was  sugar rush cards but i   recommend not selling tell tomorrow but if got any thing else you want to sell then do that today

They’re already doing RP different this year so it really depends. Everything not draft related is gonna tank hard. If draft cards can be used for RP tokens, then sure they’ll go up. If not, well, big tank again. No one knows what the format looks like quite yet. I personally don’t believe draft cards are gonna be as important this year, but I’d never advise you to think the same.

Long story short: any cards that are needed in the RP sets (I'd image draft cards for sure, plus whatever else they choose,) will shoot up in price, depending on how much prep everyone in the community has done. Everyone has a ton of coins too, so I'd imagine those cards will get expensive if people are buying a lot off the AH. But any card not needed for RP's will tank out - we're truly in the end game now.

In years past, EA has offered Rookie Premiere packs, with lower OVR (92-93?)  RP cards that can be used to create tokens or 99 OVR RP cards. Since so many people are buying, the price of the packs ends up being lower than what the single low OVR RP cards sell for on the AH, so usually you can profit from that right off the rip.  Redux and Ultimate Legends cards tank since they aren't used for RP sets.  Kinda interesting this year since there have been a bunch of promos since the draft.  I doubt there will be RP sets for every post-draft promo, but if there are the market is going to go wild. If, for some reason, there is no RP set for draft cards I'm screwed.  I've got about 3 Mil in draft cards that I'm holding. I think I'll be OK though, since usually what's in the Fan Appreciation packs are a bit of a tip of EA's hand about what will be needed for RP.

People said stock up on draft cards, so I have like 3m worth of draft cards chilling in my binder. If they aren't used for sets this will be very unfortunate.

Historically, Rookie Premier sets have been similar year after year. Last year, the only wrench in the prepping was Sugar Rush being include. This year it being atleast a 2 part promo may change things

Same, I bought 7 99s at about 250-275k each so hoping to cash in a bit
