Is Madden Still Fun for You RN?

House rules is a toxic sweat fest with unattainable rewards.  H2H in general is a DDA based, scripted tug-o-war.  Solobattles are boring AF. Theme Team Remix solos don't track or give XP rewards. There aren't even enough objectives to get the XP for field pass rewards.

 I've got all the season pass rewards that I wanted to work for.    My team is set at 98 OVR, because no Legatron.  Packs are expensive as hell and give you back about 30-40% what you pay in coins. 

Before this year, rolling 550K in training used to take an hour and you got atleast a GT or a few high OVR Reduxes and bunch of stuff to use in sets to make coins. Yesterday I rolled 550K in a about 3 minutes and got back about 120K in coin quicksells.  

No trade block, so you can't even make a 2nd team to play around with.  No new content except on two days late in the week.

I'm trying not to be done yet, but the message from EA to Madden players is a pretty clear set of forward facing middle fingers. That might as well be their Madden 23 start up splash screen. 

Anyone have any thoughts on how to enjoy Madden at this point? What are you all doing to have fun playing this game? 

I work outside, and spend lots of time with my loved ones, so those kind of stale played-out suggestions, you can just save for another post.  Thanks!

I run legends TT so I cant even play house rules which is stupid, team is at 98 and I have been winning a lot recently so I'm kinda into but they need to get the pack odds up, I have prolly thrown 1 mil of training into TVPs since the price change and have mainly got grey strats and every pack is basically throwing away coins unless you get extremely luckky

i took a cpl week break now getting back...ive been using new playbooks and new schemes but still gets pretty boring facing the same meta over and over and over lol....... countless promos ruined, countless makerights ,countless gltches, tvps are ruined packs are a scam and all in all this entire yr has been a huge glitch filled  L

Yes. Just switched back to Cowboys TT after running Legends.

Nope every game is the same people with the best team only running with flash and gus it's actually unplayable especially with peppers fs coming out.

I enjoy the competition but I’m not very good (.600 win pct or so). I argue against the presence of DDA generally but I don’t think here’s the place for that discussion, wasn’t your question. I loved the ending about working outside and having loved ones lol. I used madden to unwind after a run and for when my girlfriend wants to play video games herself so I def can relate to it not affecting exercise + family. Sorry you’re not enjoying it man, a break before 24 maybe would help? You could sell your team now and buy rookie premiers or just take a couple years off. It’s a game so you enjoy it how you want :))

honestly, for me

packs sucks, gameplay sucks, rewards suck, and the promos mostly suck as well. only here for the community.

at this rate i'm enjoying theme team remix other than that i don't care for anything else atm. this is my last madden anyway before maximum football drops and i'm taking my talents there i'm knowing madden 24 is gonna be a shit show leading up to the release.

Difficult with a newborn. if I get a free hour on night-shift when she’s sleeping, I enjoy playing for the mind/break. But can really only play challenges and can’t get much done in a short amount of time. Get a hit stick / 2 tackles is tough when it’s a pick or  fumble first play. Easy to replay, but you catch my drift. Also reallllllly annoying all of these new promos where I have to spend 5-10 minutes understanding what it is / how to upgrade the players.

If I win then yes madden is always fun. If I lose which happens like 50% of the time it seems then no its not fun at all.

The mut players are the same. Everyone just runs it with flash and gus and uses glitch passes like pa slot cross which I think whoever spams that play should receive perma bans and same goes for that glitch cover 2 blitz should be a permanent ban. It's the same thing and every mutual player has the same stats for whatever position they play the only difference is the height and the reliability on abilities
