What does this AP stuff really mean?

What will it do? What will happen?

It just means that now people have to choose whether they wanna be run heavy or pass heavy on offense, instead of having 2 X-Factor backs, two abilities each on all linemen, and 2-3 abilities on each receiver. And on defense, you’ll have to adjust your abilities. Secure Tackler and Tackle Supreme become extremely important. And now KOs won’t bail people out as much (unless they put their AP into Them).

So...H2H is easier for us players who suck?

In a vacuum, yes. If you strategically place your AP then you should see more competition. Just depends if you choose to run Secure Tacklers to combat the X-Factor backs and then you face a guy who poured his AP into passing. Then your abilities are kinda useless. Woth 12 AP, it was possible to play everything pretty much. Now theres much more of a choice when playing
