Switching to man scheme please help

I’ve been running zone forever but I can’t be in denial anymore. I’m in the top tier in head to head seasons and you just have to run man unfortunately. So I’m making the switch. Can someone please help with a setup? Like who I should get for CB3 and CB4 and what abilities on everyone. I run a legends theme team

CB 1- Mel Blount (still plays like a beast)

CB2- Cromartie

CB3 right now Perry Williams and he’s trash

CB4 Vernon Davis and he’s trash 

FS- Sean Taylor- guy is always making plays

SS- Pola Mao 

SubLB- Darren Woodson

MLB-Willis( I’m such a fan and avalanche is too fun when you land one)

Depends on your budget, but Deion Sanders and Tariq Woolen are studs for me in man.

Money no object. If I don’t have enough coins, I’ll make it happen lol

Yet man defense needs tons of adjustments against really good players. I tried to run man and if I couldn't get pressure real fast my DBs just get burnt.

I dont see why you think Man is better. The best defense in the game is a hybrid (running man and zone together), and knowing which defenses are best for which formations. Straight man coverage is easy to beat. A simple mesh concept with someone running route techs will torch it. There is no answer to defense in this game if your OPP knows what theyre doing. A stop or two on defense will come down to adjusting to your OPP and really, calling the right plays at the right time, which actually does take some luck. Every defense has a weakness/hole.

I tried a man coverage scheme with 3 or 4 CB's with shade abilities, and two of them had inside and outside shade, which is bascially one-step, my slot CB (peters) has inside shade....my two deep safeties had deep out zone.

It did not work against a decent OPP. 

But the best man coverage guy for abilities in the game is Jaycee Horn. Gets inside and outside shade for a total of 2ap. I switched to zone with KO and acro's after trying this man scheme for a few games. Sold off all my man cover guys. Man is too easy to beat, espeically when someone is running route abilities, which most players are. Man doesnt even stop the most META offensive plays in the game. Actually it torches them. Man coverage against PA Shot Seams, even with shades and shading outside? Still cooks it.

Throw inside shade outside shade on Jaycee Horn and he’s a stud. Marcus Peters gets inside shade for 1 as well. Cromartie and NTL have played great for me too
