In all honesty, I don't believe that the NFL cares as long as they get their licensing money. You have never heard the league openly criticise EA for the state of the game.

Even if the game sucks, it prints money. The Only way they ever lose the license is if the company completely fails or the game loses money making it not worth EA’s buck to renew.
Neither are likely to happen. EA has enough money to bully anyone out of the rights if they choose to via bidding wars, except maybe a few major publishers at their level.

Anyone hoping EA will lose the rights, is dreaming.
EA will continue to keep the exclusive rights. Matter of fact, their relationship with the NFL is getting deeper.

I actually think youre talking out of your behind on this. So, would love to hear what the hell youre talking about. You got Roger Goodell on line 1? Im betting on no.
EA is for sure in jeopardy of losing this monopoly if the game and servers do not improve.

Everyone’s acting like 2k adding competition will vastly improve madden; it won’t. EA has all the momentum and madden is synonymous with video game football. We’re stuck, thank capitalism

The only momentum EA has with Madden is down the toilet bowl. I will be opening a new website soon of my own. Focusing Madden and EA as a whole. And I am not going to be nice. I have many ideas that will certainly put the heat on EA Sports. Much more than uploading a little video to YouTube.
However, I do appreciate Ryan Moody. I just watched some video the other day he uploaded and he shows how EA Sports has actually went backwards with their graphics. Showed a picture of a players face this year compared to years ago, and the years ago picture looked wayyyy more like a real person. This years looks like a cartoon character. I mean, how hard is it to get real looking faces in 2023? Not hard.
EA wants to market to little kids and for what reason I do not know why.

Bro so many people just play madden because it’s madden I think you’re overestimating how many people truly care about the quality of the game
