Best abilities on defense and offense right now

Defense- inside stuff and acrobat are still good.  Then one or two with edge threat Or edge threat elite.  Lurker is always a nice bonus to put on your user.  Maybe one step ahead if you play man all the time or a zone knockout if you play zone all the time. But that comes down to scheme.  With 18 ap to work with there are tons of options and I don't think any would necessarily be wrong.

Offense- as pointed out early it's a cluster.  Most AP will go to your QB with gunslinger, HRM, PLE, or EA.  Route tech or slot apprentice for WR.  Braiser and BAckfiled master for HB. Post up and I like to have identifier for OLine if I'm playing WL. Again it is all dependent on you QB and how much his abilities cost.  You could pretty spend all your AP on your QB.
