I'm about 5 weeks into playing H2H and having to manage finances while keeping up on the meta and also creating new plays on offense and defense that beat current meta is a lot of work.
Does anyone that's NMS find the constant investing, selling, and market watching the biggest part of H2H play?
I was NMS for most of this year but recently bought points twice ($50 and $25). Much of it stayed in my coin stack. If you're skilled it's not that hard to build a competitive team. Much of my team is lower set cards and BNDs, with a bit of help on obtaining higher overall cards.
It's fairly easy to compete with top tier squads in H2H because as soon as you can stop people's meta formation, they'll quit.

I get a lot of quits. It's frustrating because how are you going to get better if you keep quitting?
For me it's buying players who fit the scheme the best. I'll buy multiple players at each position to see who helps the most. Sell off the ones that don't and try to sell the ones I like while they still retain high value.
Know a sneaky cost? Strategy cards. I'm always shuffling a few to see how my offense and defense works with them. Sprinter has been a great card though. I'm not sure there is a better one on offense currently.
