I was a late start to MUT last year but as I recall there was more than 12 AP allowed for both offense and defense. Just curious what everyone’s thoughts are on this. Would it be good or bad for the game to increase AP at this point?

I’m guessing not since the trend is to just reduce the AP cost on higher cards

I agree with this as well but it would be nice if they did raise both off and def by at least 4 more ap.

I think they should have a few different H2H seasons, all with the same rewards. Maybe

kinda like how salary cap used to be a thing, although the one year nobody played it and the salary cap was set way too high so I played one season and became top Hundred on PlayStation lmfao

I found a way to work with the 12 ap on each side of the ball…..wouldn’t mind it creeping up to like 15 on each side but it is what it is…..i would like special teams to have a max of 3 or 4 but thats ok too if it doesnt happen

I’ve got my AP spread out all over as well because it’s hard to stack it on more than one position. I’d love to have a bit more AP especially on defense so I could stack CB’s along with D-Line. I do like how the newer cards are getting cheaper abilities so maybe it will get to the point I‘m hoping for

Increasing would be very bad for the health of the game. Imagine Quadfather with like 7 AP and Carmichael with like 5 🫠🫠🫠 sounds like a nightmare

I honestly don’t think anyone can make a valid argument for needing more. I have 12 people on my defense with abilities. Not only that, but they all have 2 abilities. That’s 24 abilities NOT counting baked in card abilities for 1 side of the ball.

Any more than 12AP is going to get more ridiculous than it already is. There’s not many teams you face now that don’t have an ability on every player on the field.

What are your thoughts on loading up abilities on one group while leaving minimum on another? Like say you have your top 2 Cb’s with like the 3-4 AP each and leaving only free AP on your d-line? Sounds like you like to spread it out over the entire defense like most of us
