Need Some Daunte Culpepper Reviews (Update went with Flacco)

Since Martyr really helped me out with acquiring some Legend chem players, I'm working on building a (budget) legends TT. With just backups and the players I already have I can get to 29 Legends chem, which means some starters need to go. 

I was wondering if anyone uses Daunte Culpepper? Other than the play action rating (which I don't think will matter that much for me since I play a gun empty formation a lot) he looks really good... 6'4, 260 lbs with great ball carrying and throwing stats, plus good traits. Keep in mind, Generic 3 has always been one of my favorite releases. 

Also, if I do end up picking him up for the squad, what are the best ability combinations to run on him?

I run a legends TT and go with Flacco.  His deep ball release is horrible but as long as you throw short-mid range it'll be a speeding bullet. If you want to run an x-factor use Gambit. Flacco also has amazing discounted abilities with HRM Pass Lead Elite and Fearless for 4 ap.

I tried Flacco once and didn't really like him that much, but maybe I'll give him another try. I don't really use HRM, I don't hot route enough for it to be worth the AP so I think I'll try GS instead.

That's fine. The only reason I use HRM is that I make lots of adjustments but if you want adjustments for only certain players I think there are a few with apprentice abilities for cheap. I haven't tried out GS and Pass Lead elite combo on him so tell me how it goes. Cheap options are Young and Warner which I found were pretty good themselves.

have him on vikings tt hes fantastic for me but i run fearless PLE and gun slinger for like 5 or 6 ap but its worth it

Cant go wrong with Cullpepper, speed and arm strength set him aside for me.

Have you tried Steve Young 96 Playoffs, he's pretty good with 91 speed

Funny you ask, I almost made a review post about him last night after the bizarre season he had for me. I picked him up last weekend, tested all his ability combos through a bunch of HR games, and then played a full season with him. 
Best ability combos were either:

A. HRM Dashing Deadeye PLE

B. Tank Fastbreak PLE

Here’s my review:

One of the most unique QBs I used on MUT. Dude will pull off the some of the craziest throws I’ve ever seen, I’m talking rollout out cross body 40 yards on a rope, but then throw a flat to the RB into the stands. Running the ball was the same. He’d break a tackle, stiff arm a dude and truck into the end zone for a TD. Next possession he gets shoestring tackled and fumbles. 

In the season and playoffs he was great, won me a lot of games. Then in the SB he  missed a wide open seam pass in OT that would’ve won the game. Just sailed it right over my TE straight to the safety and cost me the game. Clean pocket feet set.  Just misses open throws for whatever reason.  He made difficult plays look easy and easy plays look difficult.

If you want a QB to run, pass, just have fun with, get him. If you only care about the W grab one of the pocket passers like Brady or Flacco.
