I have been noticing lately that SS Ted has been discarding my linemen lead blockers, and I can't seem to truck him much. He's been the toughest defender I've faced including 99 OVR cards....
The only success I had against him - I put Gronk at FB and Gronk held him off my HB .
I took SS Ted as my free ZC card and play him at SS2. He makes more plays than anyone on my D other than the Milk Man.
Has to be because of his size. I have Bettis with Bruiser and he will demolish almost any other safety and LB in the game, but Hendricks consistently stops me if I run into him. Peppers as well.
I run vanguard on gronk and keep him at tight end. He's the only card I can think of that doesn't automatically get blown up by gronk every time. It still works, but it's not automatic like vs everyone else. Ted is a machine out there.
Thankfully he's a little slow nowadays and is always as clunky as he has been.

Good to hear it isn't just me LOL. Seriously, I can't run on that card, but like you said, nowadays he's a little slow.
And I also have the same experience with Gronk - he blows everyone up - no matter who it is - except Ted. It's like 2 bears on their hind legs fighting when they run into each other but at least Gronk can hold him off.
Gets me thinking maybe I should get him back in my lineup but when I try to user Ted he just seems too slow for me. But who's to say? I'm usering 340 lb Haloti Ngata these days LOL
