I though it would be fun to play with my 49ers theme team just like the 49ers play irl. So I want to run the ball and then sprinkle in some short passes. What formations and plays are good for this?

Rams offensive playbook, Singleback Bunch X Nasty. Absolutely amazing formation for running, short passing, and even intermediate/deep passing. I've been running it for months and it's a ton of fun.

Bucs playbook. Singleback wing tight z, singleback wing tight. Rams playbook singleback wing tight nasty(i think thats the name)

The Wide Zone is one of the better stretch runs in the game, and you can flip it. Just make sure you have some WRs who can block. The new Cooper Kupp (81 Run Block) does yeoman's work for me. PA Cross is a Cover 2 KILLER if you put your HB on a wheel and roll out to that side -- the wheel or post over the top should be WIIIIIDE open. Verticals has a great wheel throw to the TE and I like put my HB on a Texas route so the user has to pick one or the other. If you have one Slot Apprentice WR and a HB with Backfield Master, I believe this formation is the best Singleback formation in the game.
