Certain free cards with free abilities sometimes disappear and won’t re-appear on ability activation screen. The player won’t show when he should thus no activating him. This happens on free DT Tony S. , the new A. Bouldin and now my season 3 C Hilgenberg. It’s very annoying.
Has anyone figured out a work around for this. I’ve accidentally fixed them a couple times but never quite know how it happened.

Have you tried closing app, or going in and out of MUT? If those don’t or didnt work, try going to EA help

It’s a bug that I have seen as far back as maybe 2 months ago. It’s bad now with multiple current (albeit free) cards people are certainly using.
I was trying to put Bouldin at WR 5 with his free SIE. He wouldn’t show up in act. screen. I powered him down completely and removed him from lineup and backed out. Went back into lineup and replaced my #2 with Bouldin. I powered him up and equipped SIE and then he shows up in activation screen. Then I had to switch him back to #5 and put my WR2 back in place. Bouldin deactivated for a sec but was still in activation screen so reactivated.
That was one player fix. It wouldn’t work in any other WR spot only #2. I cleared my lineup and backed out then entered again and placed all the players and replicated not only the issue but the fix as well.
With the Center I had to kinda do the same thing only I cleared ALL my centers and when I re-entered my lineup, I placed free Hilgenberg at C1 by himself. He then shows up and I could move him where I needed.
As long as you don’t de-activate their ability on accident it stays on no problem. Only when it gets deactivated it can be a pain in the ass to figure out how to fix. Hopefully this can help someone else
This has happened to me a handful of times. I’ve found that when you bring up the ability activation screen and some are missing if you change the “sort” filter it shows everyone (I think it’s “NEWEST” or “OVR”? I can’t remember which one…). Not sure why it doesn’t show them to begin with but hopefully this works for you as well.
