How do I determine who should be my outside CB and who should be my slot CB

Slot Corners are generally shorter than outside I let my outside corners generally sit if they try to throw a late slant hopefully pick artist will activate. Then I have my Safeties covering deeper recievers.

For Slot WR and CB I use the most physical/most run block and block shed.

I base mine off abilities typically. I have two Deep Out KO's on my outside corners with Champ and Woodson then use Haynes inside with Mid Zone KO.

I run a cover 3 so having my 3 safeties and Haynes as a corner closer to the LOS is a nice boost playing against the run.

I wouldn't do this I was you but my slot CB is sam Adams cause I can blitz him but for the most part slot corners need to be good in man coverage

I would say whoever is better at blocksheding/stoping the run is going to be your bet at slot corner, because if your corner is consistently throwing the WR then he's basically shutting down that side of the field on a run

i had 89 Gilmore at outside with deion in the slot and juste other side, and Gilmore constantly got destroyed, so I moved him to slot and never had a problem again. I did pick up 93 griffin so I could probably put deion back in slot

Usually, the shorter corner should go in the slot. Also, the slot corner should be the highest blockshed and/or hit power of your corners.

I usually use the smallest corner so the bigger corners are on all the crazy tall receivers in the game but depends on your strategy if you run man or zone

fast but short corners, probably corners with slot arch like rod woodson in my niners tt is a pretty obvious slcb

I go off of tackle and cod. Rod Woodson is a great option

Typically you want your slot corner to have higher run stopping stats like pursuit, blockshed, and hit power, but this game is so ability based that you really have to look at who gets the abilities that best fit your scheme.

I run a lot of Cover 4 and Cover 6 and use Woodson and Bailey outside with Revis in the slot just because he get's Flat Zone KO for 1 AP, even though he sucks at stopping the run.

If you run a man scheme you probably want somebody like Cromartie in the slot who can get Inside Shade and Medium Route KO.
