I've got 5 AP invested between Ware and Bruce Smith in edge threat/edge threat elite and DON (also instant rebate on Smith)....also run Seymour with 0 AP D rally on 3rd and 4th....
But is it worth it still? On both edge rushers? They're both effective right now but are you guys still running those on both edge rushers?

I'm just running DON anymore on the edge. Anyone with half a brain has 2 edge protectors every game. I honestly have noticed little to zero drop off. Smith and Ware both still get crazy good pressure.

Cool...since I'm 40/40 legends I run Legends mostly....Ware and Smith, Sapp, Seymour up front. I have subs I throw in like Dexter, Reggie White, Jason Taylor, TooTall, etc....
But I run mostly nickel. Dime sets...
In 4-3 I have Nitschke, Romanowski, and Brooks all w 0 AP. Lurker. Micah, LT, Norton.
Most of my AP is on the 2 edge rushers and my DBs.... I have discounted inside shade on 2 DBs because I run mostly man......acro on Bo and Troy. Right there between 2 inside.shades, (4 AP total), 5 AP on Smith/Ware, 2 AP for Acro for.Bo and Troy, that's 11 AP. I'll use inside stuff sometimes on Sapp along w under pressure but the rest of my DBs get free abilities like Woodson, sometimes I drop inside stuff and put PA on Carmichael CB

i play zone match mostly so all my DBs have at least 0 AP Tip Drill or 0 AP Pick Artist
Sean Taylor only has 0 AP Crusher and he's mainly user card and he's at FS #2 as well

Grab a 0 AP defensive rally guy and just throw double or nothing on your pass rushers. Edge threat is pretty much a waste of AP on defense at this point because everyone and their mom is running edge protectors/secure protectors which negate edge threat.

One step and mid zone KO on Cro, PA on Woodson, PA and tip drill on Carmichael, PA on Calvin and Sherm, ET and DON on Ware, ETE and DON on Smith, D rally on Simmons and Seymour, El Toro on Reggie White.....unpredictable on Jason Taylor...my SubLBs are Peppers w PA and Bo with Acro....Sapp also has under pressure on him.

Haha we have almost identical squads. Im loving the legends team this year regardless of what anyone says lol.

I always used Legends in Madden ... I'm an old head, in my 50's , so I have built up a lot of favorites over time.
I even played with a few guys that made it to the NFL....None of them will ever get a Legends card though LOL. Were only in the league for a quick.minute.... but I do love the old school players.
When guys like Bruce Smith , LT, Carmichael, Singletary, Lott, Montana, etc are released into the game I have to have them. And with so many of these cards as you know, I have like 18 abilities active on defense and 16 on offense, so it's great.

Have you gone into the new practice mode yet? Playing my team was insanely hard lol. I could barely move the ball against my defense. It's crazy
I'm still running 2 Edge Threats (Bruce Smith with 2 AP Edge Threat Elite and 1 AP DON and TOTW Cameron Wake with 1 AP Edge Threat and 0 AP Speedster)
Only spending 4 AP total to have 2 Edge Threats is worth it for me just on the random occasion I play someone who doesn't run 2 Edge Protectors. even against edge protectors, they will still get through occasionally
