Seems like it’s Aaron Rodgers‘s award now, but Jonathan Taylor, Tom Brady, and Patrick Mahomes are also considered candidates. The Packers QB had a season QBR of 11.9, 4,115 passing yards, 37 passing tocuhdowns, and only 4 interceptions. Will Rodgers take home his second straight MVP trophy or will there be a surprise winner?

Looking like a 2-man race between Rams receiver Cooper Kupp and Colts running back Jonathan Taylor. Kupp won the receiving triple-crown this season, leading the NFL in receptions (145), receiving yards (1,947), and receiving touchdowns (16). Kupp’s 1,947 receiving yards is second all-time in a single season and only 17 receiving yards behind Calvin Johnson’s record. Taylor nearly ran his team into a playoff berth despite having QB troubles, leading the NFL with 1,811 rushing yards and 18 rushing touchdowns. Taylor averaged a great 5.5 yards per carry in 2021. Who will win the closest race of the 2022 NFL Honors?

This award seems like a pretty clear winner as well. T.J. Watt is leading in the race with Cowboys rookie linebacker Micah Parsons and Rams superstar defensive tackle Aaron Donald trailing behind. Watt tied the single-season sack record with 22.5 sacks despite missing 2 games. Is Watt going to run away with his first DPOY award or will someone else sneak away with it?

Bengals rookie WR Ja’Marr Chase has also pretty much locked down the award, breaking the single-season rookie receiving yards record with 1,455 yards, while also racking up 13 touchdowns and 81 receptions. Chase overcame his preseason struggles getting used to the NFL ball, but he seems to have left that in the past. Other candidates are Patriots QB Mac Jones, Chiefs center Creed Humphrey, and Chargers offensive tackle Rashawn Slater. The race was much closer around mid-season, but Mac Jones’s late-season struggles and Ja’Marr Chase booming in Week 17 against the Chiefs, breaking the rookie receiving game record with 266 receiving yards. Will Chase win, or will his AFC rival Mac Jones pull off the upset?
DROY
This seems to be the most lopsided award. Dallas Cowboys sensational do-it-all linebacker Micah Parsons is the huge favorite to win the award, with the only legitimate contest being Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II. Micah led the NFL among rookies with 13 sacks and came second in solo tackles amongst rookies with 64. Micah Parsons also landed top 3 in the NFL in pressure rate. Is Parsons 100% going to win?

The preseason favorite to win Comeback Player of the Year was Dak Prescott, but now the competition has heated up. Second-year Bengals QB Joe Burrow had a great second half of the 2021 season, while Cowboys QB Dak Prescott had the better early season. Both QBs have an almost equal shot at the award, with Prescott leading in odds to win. Prescott came back from a broken and dislocated ankle in 2020, while Burrow came back from a torn ACL and MCL with damage to his PCL and Meniscus in 2020. Both QBs have overcome serious injuries to have great seasons. Who will win this close race?
