First time utilizing the lineup builder since ZC released. Any tips/advice on my defensive portion would be great??

Hello all, Just recently added a lineup here on MUT, I have to say this website is very user friendly and appreciate every ones time and effort who makes this site capable of what it is. Im fairly new to this site since this year. So again huge thanks to everyone that makes this site beneficial in so many ways.

I currently utilize the 46 defensive playbook. I mix up a lot of man and zone out of Big Nickel, Dime, and Dollar. sometimes nickel 3-3 and 46 in the red zone. If anyone has the time to quickly glance over my positioning to see if i'm correctly utilizing my players and not missing anything, Id truly appreciate it. Especially in the specialist part because i'm kind of confused in regard to that.

Any tips or advice on my current line up is greatly appreciated, since this is my first year on MUT and Madden in general since like 2008 also (NMS)

Looks pretty good. I might opt for some deep zone KOs that fit your scheme. But stick with your abilities if you like how it plays

Lineup looks good, I'd refine your schemes a little bit. Using 46 in the redzone is good, I like big nickel a lot especially if you are more of a zone/match player. but from there i'd probably use dime or dollar. Sometimes it's best to be good with 1-2 formations as opposed to average with 4. Also, sometimes it's difficult to run big nickel and use the right abilities to run other formations because of the use of safeties. 

If i ran big nickel with this I'd use Chinn, and Woodson deep, with Evans, Calvin, and Sean Taylor (nickel cb spot) underneath, and I'd run 2 Deep out zone kos, and 3 pick artists, with the 0 ap lurk artist on warner.

Impressive squad, especially for NMS.  You seem to have a pretty good indication of what you're doing, or trying to achieve.  Defense is extremely difficult this year.  As others have pointed out, KO abilities (especially Deep Out Zone KO on both outside corners & Deep In Zone KO on over top safety) is wonderful.  Fred Warner is possibly THE best USER in the entire game.  If you can find the Josh Allen Mixup Monday for cheap, i'd consider that, he's fantastic as a secondary (CPU controlled) SUBLB2.

DB Fire 2 from Dollar is quite popular this year.  Loop blitzes might be back, but we shall see.  Darren Woodson feels a bit slow already, but i've kept him in purely for the Deep Zone KO ability, as it covers the entire field, essentially both Deep In & Deep Out Zone KOs combined into a single ability.  This might allow you to slide Mike Evans to outside corner.

If you're running Dollar, make sure you always have four blitz angles, it tends to help generate more pressure, something about how the AI is calculating block timers.  I typically just blitz my USER (Fred), then drop back into pass coverage, thereby rushing three, but the game believes i've got four pass rushers, so it enhances pass rush a bit.  Hopefully someone will correct me if i'm feeding you misinformation, but that is my meager understanding of the current gameplay.  A-gap blitzes WERE all the rage until a recent patch.  For example, this somewhat unique blitz (from 46 & Multiple D playbooks only) was able to generate A-gap pressure nearly untouched on 75-80%+ of plays.  Allegedly that has now been patched, but it still seems to work once in a while, but much less consistent.

Good luck, keep us posted on your progress.  Impressive squad.  I'm far from an expert, so consider anything and everything i say as highly suspect, but we're all here learning together.  I would have surely given up on MUT long ago had it not been for this amazing website and the wonderful community and lively debates.  Have fun, happy holidays.

EDIT: My bad, just saw you have Luke Kuechly, he's fantastic as secondary USER.  That's the only specific recommendation, beyond the Darren Woodson suggestion.  Slide Luke to SUBLB2 perhaps.  0AP LurkArtist is all the rage, so so good.  Love having two on the field at all times.

Appreciate your time and feedback. Still a lot of learning in about everything inside of MUT but loving every bit of the daily grind and challenge of being competitive. many factors to consider every game. Keeps me busy. Thanks again
