Just got Trevor Lawrence and found myself having to pick from SFL & PLE due to the lack of ability buckets... SFL & PLE are both elite and sound like they pretty much do the same thing but PLE doesn't mention "set feet" so I would imagine it's better than SFL because it works on the run and while set in the pocket... Is that right? What do you all think and do you have a preference for one over the other?

I think that’s basically it. As for preference it all comes down to your play style , play book etc. You also need to think about the other abilities on your QB and the total AP - not sure about Lawrence but I just picked up McNair and got GS, HRM, Fearless & SFL for 3AP BUT for GS, HRM, Fearless & PLE would be 4AP. As I am a pocket passer the extra AP for PLE isn’t worth it

As a first time MUT player i do not fully understand the slight differences, however I typically prioritize PLE, assuming equivalent AP cost. If you can survive without Hot Route Master, Trevor Lawrence felt liek a really decent option. I used him for a couple days before having all of my wildest dreams come true (i'm bias as a lifelong 49er fanboi) with the release of Joe Montana.
I used Tua for a brief period prior to unlocking Trevor Lawrence, which is almost certainly why i didn't struggle as much converting back to playing without HRM. Basically, my preference is whatever is cheaper AP cost, it's as simple as that. They're close enough for my purposes, that it doesn't really matter, however i'm basically a statue in the pocket... i try to step up to buy myself a bit more time, but rarely drop way back or find myself scurrying around the backfield. YMMV.
