I always have the coin to get the new new and I love starting players that people don't like. "Budget Spender". I Built a secondary around the new IF Secondary players. Haven't tried any other positions yet. Omg 2 games so far and 7 Ints already.
This is what I Did...
Marlon Humprhey Strong Side CB he's the most physical can help with the run
Slay at Weak Side Corner less physical but is your Coverage Specialist.
Hooker is great at Deep Safety
Budda is cracked in the box
Slot can easily be any CB you want with good Weakside LB stats. Think of players who play the run and coverage as if there a 220 LB. For me I have Sherman but there are many good cheaper options. Think of slot CB as your best all round defender on the field and not just who's the best CB trust me your game will elevate.
Keep in mind I'm running all defensive motivators (Quay Walker a sleeper user for any budget spender) and stop and go combine chems.
If you have the coin I seriously want you to give this a try if you like cover 3 this secondary is crazy if you like cover 4 just sub in a deep safety for budda he still plays deep coverage good but if he gets beat in coverage the KO won't save you.
Abilities are king and I don't disagree but don't ever sleep on cards who can play like they have those abilities coded in. Not saying that they do but let's be honest some cards are cracked with 0 help from abilities.
