Short In Elite is still good, but it's not nearly as consistent as it was in Madden 23. It seems as if there's a randomness component to determine when it activates, but when it does, it consistently beats man coverage. It triggers on the first cut of a route within 10 yards from the line of scrimmage and between the numbers. Since several players can equip Short In Elite for 0-1 AP, it's definitely worth considering.
