The Weekly Spotlight Program is one of the best resources for No Money Spent (NMS) players in MUT, offering an easy way to earn Champion-level players simply by completing weekly program challenges. If you're new to MUT or returning from a break, you probably have questions about Weekly Spotlight. Check out the answers to some of the most common questions below:
Which Programs are part of Weekly Spotlight?
There are currently three programs that are considered Weekly Spotlight programs: Collector's Series, Legends, and Team of the Week.
In MUT 26, Legends and Team of the Week were eventually replaced by Ultimate Legends and Flashbacks during the second half of the year, so the featured programs may change later in MUT 27 as well.
How do you earn Weekly Spotlight Tokens?
Tokens can be earned in one of three ways:
- Complete Legends, Collector's Series, and Team of the Week Challenges to earn Tokens through Milestone Rewards.
- Complete Weekly Spotlight Objectives to earn XP and progress through the Weekly Spotlight Field Pass. Tokens are rewarded at every other level.
- Purchase Token Packs from each of the three featured programs. The packs currently cost 525 Training and contain 3x 77+ players from that program plus 3x Weekly Spotlight Tokens. You can purchase up to 2 Token Packs per program, per week.
What can you do with Weekly Spotlight Tokens?
Context: BND is short for account-bound, which means the item cannot be auctioned or used in sets, and has a reduced quicksell value.
Weekly Spotlight Tokens can be redeemed in sets for players, most notably BND Champions from the three featured programs. Tokens can also be quicksold for 45 Season Tickets each, but that feels like a waste when Season Tickets can be earned rather easily. In most cases, the best use of your Tokens is to save 25 and redeem them for a BND Champion who fills a need on your team.

- Legends, Collector's Series, TOTW BND Champs (25 Tokens) — Best Value
- Legends, Collector's Series, TOTW BND Heroes (5 Tokens)
- Legends, Collector's Series, TOTW Auctionable 80+ Packs (8 Tokens) — A good way to "cash out" leftover Tokens late in the year, especially during Rookie Premiere.
In MUT 26, a 65-Token set was also added that rewarded a Team of the Year player after the Super Bowl. The set first appeared alongside Preseason TOTW, so we'll see if something similar arrives when Preseason TOTW goes live in MUT 27 on Wednesday.
How can I tell which BND Champion options are available?
In-game, you'll have to determine which Champions from the three Weekly Spotlight programs are currently eligible. To make things easier, we've added a Weekly Spotlight Set Reward filter to the MUT.GG Database that displays every Champion currently available from the 25-Token set.
Should I spend or save my Weekly Spotlight Tokens?
Spend 25 if there's a BND Champion who meaningfully improves your lineup; otherwise, save them. There's no expiration date; the Champion sets will improve as OVRs rise, and MUT 26 eventually offered the 65-Token TOTY set.
When do Weekly Spotlight Sets refresh?
EA has not confirmed the MUT 27 refresh schedule yet, but in MUT 26, Weekly Spotlight Token Reward Sets refreshed following an OVR escalation. We currently have 86 OVR LTDs and 85 OVR Champions, so if the same pattern continues, the sets should update after Weekly Spotlight programs begin releasing 87 OVR LTDs and 86 OVR Champions.
Do Weekly Spotlight Tokens expire?
No. Weekly Spotlight Tokens do not expire, so there's no need to spend them immediately. In fact, leftover Weekly Spotlight Tokens can provide extra value toward completing Rookie Premiere at the end of the year by completing the auctionable Weekly Spotlight Player Sets.
