Anyone running the I-Form? Given all Oline capabilities, just curious if anyone has been running the inside zone as an alternative to the jet sweep with a solid FB. If yes, who is better than everyone else for this very specific task (just run/lead block)?
Currently using L Jackson from surge. It most likely will benefit you more if you switch up your plays. Keep ‘em off balance. Play what’s being given to you. If defence is playing the run, dump a couple quick passes. Loosen up the D then run up the middle or whatever.
Always refreshing to see people testing deeply off-META parts of the game. I've played Madden on and off forever and I can't recall I-Form ever being popular for anything other than maybe Goal line situations in certain years. You're looking for a blocking only FB (or TE) with Vanguard and probably for 1 AP or less.
Lamar (already mentioned) is the best combo of stats, but Dawand Jones will give you extra ability buckets and therefore is the "better than everyone else" answer. Honorable mentions: Brian Bosworth and Ted Hendricks

Looks like we're getting a Travis kelce today, hopefully with vanguard. Dawand jones is amazing
Run all the 300+ backfield and the WR/TE with vanguard and have a blast

I have to assume today's new Quenton Nelson FB will become THE best ball carrier potentially available at the position, although maybe Dawand Jones holds that crown (but i'm using him at TE1) and have Lamar at FB. This HB Stretch out of I Form Slot Close is stupid good, especially if you audible down from something liek five wide, you can often catch your opponent off guard and rumble over them. Even when fully prepared, it's extremely difficult to stop. My tendencies often favor running this to the weak side, where i've got big Ted Hendricks and JC Latham WRs ready to pancake some fools.

Problem dominated professional Madden using Iform close
I run iform tight with 2 te with vanguard, LG, c rg rt with vanguard and gt scott at wr. Hb is usually fallele or gt Dickerson and I run hb stretch out of it for 10 yds a play easily. Fb is gt dawand , and he just mows people down on the edge.
