What Keeps You Playing?

I see so many people on here upset with Madden and im not here to debate if its good or bad. But what keeps you playing at this point?

What keeps me playing is the lack of alternatives.

The gameplay is not great, but it's good enough.

Competiton and the love of the game.

That makes sense. Was just curious because i see so much hate all the time, and not saying it is or isnt justified but was curious. Thanks

Nothing, have logged in twice since the new season. Too cartoonish for me at this point, was never a fan of x factors and abilities from the start. More rpg than sports game at this point and if you want to win you need an ability team as opposed to a team you want to use. Not knocking how people play, or what they enjoy either, to each their owm, just not for me. Squads are still enjoyable cause you're just playing with buddies,but even that I've leaned towards regular team squads and superstar is kinda dead at this point, again a madden mode more of bullshitting with buddies and building team chemistry with less flukey shit. And I'll have a baconator

Yeah when i started back in Madden 22 abilities were already a thing but not as crazy as they are now. I also really miss playing against other legit nfl theme teams and not program based TT's. To each their own but i do miss when people would use players they liked and were fans of and ran their favorite team TT. Unfortunate how alot of madden is solely based on what ability stack and animations a card gets to be considered good or even usable.

I do my daily and close app asap.

Lack of a better alternative. I also just love using my favorite players. Yes it makes me lose more games than I'd like to not use the best players. But I try not to put too much stock into that.
