I love ELO. Especially the stuff they did in the 70s. Just saw them last year when they came to Austin.

I thought googanaba's quip was funny, actually. But I grew up with ELO.
I had a similar issue yesterday. Which mode were you playing in? Earlier in the day a lot of folks were playing Ladder games for the "Last Chance Qualifier". Even sweaty tires of sweaty. And then Madden was competing with the NFL for eyes, so the casuals may not have been around, which explains my miserable experience last night in post-Zero Skill head-to-head. Server traffic may have been exceptionally light.
(I'm going to call out EA for the poor grammar here: There should be a hyphen between "Last" and "Chance", although the results of this game are indeed the result of some very random algorithms, so if this is the last competitive tournament where random chance is a factor, I'm all for that. If you want an enjoyable read on English grammar, try "Eats, Shoots, and Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation" by Lynne Truss.)

They need to have separate servers for regular H2H and the bullshit ladder games. The whole world shuts down for the ladders and it's bullshit.
