prior to this i had used escape for 3 months in a row. i decided i wanted to move away from escape because it isn’t as good on old gen as it is on next gen. u can’t run around unblocked defenders.
since i pulled matt ryan gt i thought it would only be fair to let him play a game or 2. i decided to use slinger (4 ap) hrm (2 ap) protected (3 ap) fearless (2 ap) recuperation (1 ap)
(protected 3 ap because he doesn’t get 3 field general slots so u can’t use fearless hrm and protected for minimum ap)
i was skeptical to use fearless as on normal gen i have almost no under pressure inaccurates from the pocket and only seem to be under pressure while rolling out. i don’t really care though, i have 18 ap to spend. (in the 4 games i played fearless activated zero times)
i used recuperation because i thought i would be getting sacked a lot with a 83 speed qb. i was correct.
protected is really hard to judge as there is no real way to compare it to not having it, but i did notice i had really good pass blocking, especially when playing vs contains. (on old gen, contains actually shed)
i could basically run boot over with a motion over crosser from inside receiver, te corner, and middle receiver streak every player. the hot routed crosser gets over every flat, and if they don’t user the deep post, it’s a free touchdown.
i currently have mixon, but to improve my pocket passing i will continue to use ryan as he has 12 or so less speed, and i can’t bail myself out with a scramble. (preparing for next year when escape won’t be in game for a few months)
